Lawyer Joins Cain Hibbard & Myers

Pittsfield, MA: Cain Hibbard & Myers PC, Berkshire County’s oldest and most diversified law firm, welcomes the addition of a new lawyer, Erin Thron to its litigation group.

Erin Thron joins Cain Hibbard after practicing for over three years with the Springfield firm of Shatz, Schwartz and Fentin, PC, where she represented clients in varied facets of civil litigation, focusing on commercial cases. Erin graduated from the Western New England College School of Law in 2006, where she received honors for writing and advocacy skills. Prior to attending law school, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin, where she concentrated her studies in the German language and became fluent. To bolster her fluency and knowledge of the German culture, Erin lived in Germany for eighteen months before law school.

Erin grew up one of nine children in her family in Sherwood, Wisconsin. As a young adult, Erin assisted in her father’s efforts to improve access to medical care in underdeveloped countries and traveled to southeast Africa to deliver medical equipment to impoverished areas. Erin lives in Florence with her husband, William, a regional sales manager with Stowe Woodward. In her free time, Erin volunteers as a tutor for elementary school children and loves to travel overseas.
